Ordinary Savings
Account
This account can be used to save money for emergencies
or to just accumulate funds for special occasions. The account
can be opened and operated at any Post Office within the country.
There is a minimum balance that is set from time to time and
should be adhered to.
A holder of this account may make deposits and withdrawals
at any Post Office or at the Head Quarters of BSB. This is
irrespective of the Office at which the account had been opened.
The maximum withdrawal on demand that can be made at any Post
Office is P500. Withdrawals exceeding P500 should be referred
to BSB Headquarters. This rule is instituted not only to promote
savings, but also as a security measure.

SeSIGO
Savings Account
This account was specifically designed fro people who have
the passion for savings. This account is available to perssonal
savers, group customers and small-to medium scale businesses.
The account can be opened at any Post Office or at BSB Headquarters.
Deposits and withdrawals too can be made at such offices.
The maximum withdrawal amount that is allowed at any time
at a Post Office is P500 and any amount above that should
be referred to BSB.

- Withdrawals allowed is twice a month. Any additional withdrawal
will be subjected to a fee of P10.00 excluding VAT.

Save-As-You-Earn
The objective of this scheme is to define a period plan
to save money generally and for special reasons or occasions
such as weddings, buying furniture, paying school fees, to
buy livestock etc. It is a stop order based savings scheme
that runs continuously for a fixed period of 24 months (this
period is termed contract period). The product
is designed to assist those who want to make regular saving
from their salaries or wages without having to visit the Bank
to make a deposit. However, an opportunity is also given
to those who want to deposit by hand on a monthly basis.

Thobo Savings
Account
The new THOBO savings account is intended to provide our
customers with a modern, highly flexible and a risk free
short term investment. Customers
will
be looking at the convenience of saving for short term as
well as having access to short term credit. It operates
in
a similar manner as SAYE.

Loans/Lending
Motor Vehicle
BSB offers credit to public officers, local government employees
or employees of qualifying parastatals for purchasing motor
vehicle. These loans are offered at special interests rates
linked to the prime rate. The repayment periods are 4 years
for old and 5 years for new Motor Vehicles.
Residential Property
Loan
BSB offers credit to public officers, local government employees
or employees of qualifying parastatals for building or purchasing
a house at affordable interest rates linked to prime. Residential
Property Loans are repayable over 10 years.
Ipelegeng Loan
The Bank has recognised that as customers continue to save
with the Bank there often arise situations where they need
funds to attend various commitments and the Ipelegeng loan
scheme has been developed to assist them without having to
close their savings accounts.

- Minimum loan amount is P1,000 and the maximum loan balance
is P40,000
- The loan up to P10,000 is repayable over a 36 months
and the loan exceeding P10,000 up to P40,000 is repayable
