RE-ADVERT: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
| 1. | Interested service providers who are 100% citizen owned companies/ joint ventures/ partnerships, suitably qualified and experienced are invited to submit their expression of interest for provision of property valuation services & inclusion into Botswana Savings Bank panel of valuers. |
| 2. | The Procuring department is Botswana Savings Bank, Risk Department, Credit Risk Unit, Gaborone. |
| 3. | Service Providers submission should be accompanied by the following: • Application letter indicating category applied for i.e., movable property (vehicles, machinery & equipment etc.) or immovable property • Company profile indicating place of business & areas of reach in Botswana. • Company registration documents (CIPA) • Director identification documents • Valid Tax clearance certificate The bank reserves the right to verify certificates submitted. NB: Failure to submit the required documents with EOI will result in a disqualification. |
| 4. | Interested service providers should be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and in possession of Code 316: Real Estate Services, Sub-Code 03: Property Valuation and Rating. The codes are to be verified online. |
| Evaluation Criteria: Service providers will be considered based on the following: Company years of experience in providing the applied/required service – 15 marks • 10 years or more – 15 marks • 5 – 9 years – 10 Marks • 1 – 5 years – 5 Marks Past completed jobs with similar financial institutions references – 15 marks • 3 or more references of similar assignments – 15 marks • 2 references of similar assignments – 10 marks • 1 references of similar assignments – 5 marks – Related Qualifications for Lead Valuer – 15 marks • Degree & above – 15 marks • Diploma – 10 marks • Certificate – 5 marks – Related Technical Experience of Lead Valuer – 15 marks • 10 years or more – 15 marks • 5 – 9 years – 10 Marks • 1 – 5 years – 5 Marks – Related Qualifications for Project Team (service providers to submit at least for 2 members who are key personnel in providing the required services).40 marks. • Degree & above – 20 marks • Diploma – 15 marks • Certificate – 10 marks – Related Technical Experience of Project Team (service providers to submit at least for 2 members who are key personnel in providing the required services). 40 marks. • 10 years or more – 20 marks • 5 – 9 years – 15 Marks • 1 – 5 years – 10 Marks Pass mark 80% | |
| 5. | All applicable citizen economic empowerment schemes such as Local Procurement Scheme (LPS), Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme (CEEP) and Economic Diversification Drive (EDD), Youth & Women Empowerment shall be considered for evaluation and awarding purposes. |
