The Opportunity
BSB is excited to announce new growth avenues with the recent establishment of insurance brokerage and micro-lending businesses to be regulated by the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA). We are seeking visionary and dynamic leaders to join our Board of Directors for these new subsidiaries. The role of the Board is crucial in providing strategic oversight and governance, ensuring that our subsidiaries not only meet but exceed their strategic objectives and serve the best interests of all stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For
We invite expressions of interest from outstanding individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the financial sector. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Advanced Qualifications: Postgraduate or higher qualifications in finance, credit risk management, information technology, governance, human capital or related fields.
• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the financial or insurance sectors, with at least 5 years in executive or senior management roles within competitive environments.
• Shape the Future: Influence the strategic direction and growth of innovative financial services in Botswana.
• Drive Impact: Contribute to the financial empowerment of communities and support BSB’s mission to provide accessible financial solutions.
