1. MANAGER, TREASURY // Ref: BSB-001
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling the organisation’s cash and borrowings in order to optimise its financial position. The Manager, Treasury is also responsible for administering the organisation’s fund raising, currency transactions and cash flow management in order to ensure that it efficiently utilises its financial resources in order to remain liquid and fulfil its financial obligations while optimising its growth and profitability
Qualifications and Experience
• Membership of an internationally recognised institute of professional accountants (BICA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.) or equivalent professional qualification
• Master’s in accounting, Finance, Financial Management or equivalent
• Five (5) years’ experience in a financial management and/or accounting role (preferably at a bank or other mass market financial institution) including at least two (2) years at a supervisory level
Responsibilities
• Develop, manage and implement short-, medium- and long-term investment strategies
• Manage, direct, and develop Cash flow management strategies
• Develop a financial risk management policy, in conjunction with Chief Finance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, and implement the same
• Management all aspects of the organisation’s cash flow
• Perform daily cash flow forecasting and make decisions to ensure the organisation meets its cash requirements
• Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios; directs, monitors investment portfolios
• Determine the Bank’s tax position and the applicability of taxable/non-taxable instruments
2. MANAGER, FACILITIES MANAGEMENT // Ref: BSB-002
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the management of the organisation’s premises and buildings, security and administrative services to ensure cost effective and efficient availability of appropriate office and related space, security and administrative service
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Business, Strategic Management, Administration or related area
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in facilities management for a large organisation including two (2) years of experience at supervisory level
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with executive and senior management to identify organisational property needs and facilitate the cost-effective acquisition and maintenance of said facilities.
• Advise on property acquisition strategies including leasing, buying, building, co-location, joint ventures with third party agents (e.g. BotsPost) to develop the most cost-effective solutions
• Develop short, medium, and long-term plans to cost-effectively ensure the availability of premises to support the organisation’s activities
• Ensure that the organisation’s facilities – both those owned by and leased by the organisation – are fit for purpose
• Manage all premises used by the organisation and ensure that they are appropriately maintained and cleaned
• Negotiate with service providers for the provision of property maintenance, cleaning and letting
• Negotiate and implement SLAs with facilities management and maintenance contractors
3. MANAGER, BRANCH x2 (Mahalapye Branch & Hukuntsi Branch) // Ref: BSB-003

Responsible for administering, monitoring and coordinating all Branch activities to maximise Branch profits while ensuring that appropriate controls and compliance with rules and regulations is observed.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Administration, Sales, Marketing, Strategic management or related area
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related would be an added advantage
• Five (5) years’ experience in a retail banking or mass market financial institution, including at least two (2) years supervising a branch
Responsibilities
• Implement and monitor organisational services standards across the branch(es).
• Administer and monitor the branch’s operational activities. • Oversee budget preparation, analysis, reports and adherence. • Provide a superior level of customer relations and promote the organisation’s sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation.
• Acquire new clients and retain existing clientele through value proposition as well as searching for potential financial services opportunities in order to meet business objectives.
• Provide leadership, training and supervision.
• Lead branch(es) to meet agreed goals through active participation in sales management and effective officer call programs.
4. SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR // Ref: BSB-004
Main Purpose of the Job
To implement an internal audit programme of the organisation. This includes; the evaluation of risks, reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of the organisation’s internal control systems and procedures, ensuring that the financial management, accounting and business policies, procedures, practices follow laid down Board directives and are consistent with International Standards.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Auditing, Accounting or equivalent
• Full membership of professional association recognised internationally e.g. ACCA, Certified Internal Auditor
• IT Auditing qualification will be an added advantage
• At least four (4) years post qualification experience
Responsibilities
• Identify and assess strategic/business risks, operational risks and ensure that they are mitigated and monitored
• Develop the risk based annual audit plan for approval by the Finance & Audit Committee
• Prepare Quarterly Assurance Reports to the Finance and Audit Committee on Risk Management, Internal Control and Governance
• Review Management and Organisational Structures
• Conduct internal investigations on any suspected maladministration
• Conduct any consultancy work as required by the Board or Management
• Evaluate the Policies, Procedures and Internal Control Systems on:
– Integrity of Financial and Operational Systems
– Performance Management
– Safeguarding of assets and resources
– Accuracy of statutory and other reports; and
– Acquisition and utilization of IT Systems
5. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, OFFICE OF THE CEO (RE- ADVERT) // Ref: BSB-005
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer with the coordination and management of the Office of the CEO / Operations Department / Corporate Services Department as well as the provision of secretarial and administrative assistance to the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operations Officer / Chief Corporate Services Officer.
Qualifications and Experience
• Associate’s degree / Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Administration or related area
• Six (6) years of relevant experience in a large organisation
• Thorough knowledge of office management is essential
Responsibilities
• Assist with the administrative arrangements for meetings of the Board and ensures that papers are distributed on time. (Office of the CEO only)
• Take messages, answer routine questions and refer visitors or callers to other members of the executive or senior management team as necessary.
• Inform management and external stakeholders of scheduled meetings with the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operations Officer / Chief Corporate Services Officer.
• Maintain a calendar of appointments and ensure that all correspondents receive a reply.
• Ensure that the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operations Officer / Chief Corporate Services Officer responds to all formal correspondence.
• Liaise with the host of meetings and events that the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operations Officer / Chief Corporate Services Officer is to attend.
• Disseminate information and documents as required.
6. ANALYST, STRATEGY // Ref: BSB-006
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the implementation of strategic and operational improvement projects across the organisation. Support the Head, SCX in coordinating organisation-wide transformation projects in line with the corporate strategy and manage the implementation of all customer experience improvement programs.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related area
• Two (2) years of experience in strategic management, business transformation, business improvement or operations in a consulting firm, major financial institution or public sector entity
Responsibilities
• Conduct industry and policy research that support the development, review and alignment of the organisation’s strategy by advising the Head, SCX on relevant internal and external factors that could impact on the operations
• Liaise with Departments and assess strategic and operational performance against planned. Investigate underlying issues and draft reports on compliance and variances against organisational strategy and annual plan
• Support the Head, SCX with the development of mitigations to minimise variance against organisational strategy
• Work with Head, SCX to develop monitoring tools and dashboards for strategy and business improvement initiatives
• Apply monitoring tools and dashboards to assess performance of strategic and business improvement initiatives and draft reports of progress for Head, SCX.
• Utilise qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to ensure the delivery of quality, reliable and scientifically sound data for assessing organisational performance (people, processes and technology) and monitoring corporate performance improvement strategies
• Gather market intelligence to enhance the Bank’s knowledge base and its effectiveness in supporting strategy development and execution
7. CUSTODIAN- x2 (Molepolole Branch & Hukuntsi Branch) // Ref: BSB-007
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for ensuring that security documents are complete and legally binding so that the organisation can apply the collateral if the need arises.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or related would be an added advantage
• Three (3) years’ experience in an administration role (preferably from a bank or mass market financial institution)
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all organisational credit policies and adherence to operational procedures. • Assist Customer Service Agents to resolve customer issues.
• Ensure that all documents are submitted in full when securities are accepted.
• Ensure that all security related documentation is captured on the system and filed.
• Follow up, correction of missing/faulty securities and exceptions noted.
• Follow-up on incomplete/outstanding security documents, audit deviations and exceptions.
• Ensure that guarantees and letters of intent are issued, recorded, balanced and paid out in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
8. IT, Analyst, E- Channels Applications // Ref: BSB-008
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for carrying out a range of activities in order to provide technical support for the organisation’s ICT infrastructure, networks, systems and applications, thus maximising availability and end user satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information system, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent is strongly preferred
• PL/SQL certification or equivalent and experience in digital channels and payment switch will be added advantage
• At least two (2) years post qualification experience (preferably from a bank or mass market financial institution)
Responsibilities
• Work, and liaise closely, with vendors, contractors and third-party suppliers on installations and upgrades, maintenance and trouble shooting
• Provide call centre services and respond to end user queries and requests for assistance
• Make recommendations for ICT systems and installation up-grades and designs
• Respond to emergencies and operate on stand-by to provide timely support to technical issues as required
• Maintain logs and records of activities in order to track access, incidents, upgrades, licences, etc
• Ensure that ICT assets are correctly identified and labelled and liaise with Finance function to ensure that equipment is correctly maintained on asset register
• Visit sites, test equipment, install up-grades and resolves technical queries within areas of competence
9. IT Analyst, Infrastructure // Ref: BSB-009
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for carrying out a range of activities in order to provide technical support for the organisation’s ICT infrastructure, networks, systems and applications, thus maximising availability and end user satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information system, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent is strongly preferred
• At least two (2) years post qualification experience (preferably from a bank or mass market financial institution)
Responsibilities
• Test and trouble shoot organisations ICT network, applications and infrastructure under supervision and instructions from relevant Manager
• Install, maintain and trouble shoot software to maximise availability
• Install computers, peripherals, and ICT connectivity for end users
• Perform repairs on computer and equipment within areas of competence
• Respond to end user queries and requests for assistance and support
• Install network and physical infrastructure, tests and commissions
• Train end users on use of hardware and software.
DRIVER // Ref: BSB-010
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for operating the organisation’s vehicles and safely transporting cash and valuables between branches and cash centres. The Driver is also responsible for transporting staff and goods to various locations in accordance with organisational guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
• JCE or related area
• BGCSE or related will be an added advantage
• Must have a clean, unendorsed, Class B driver’s license
• Five (5) years proven driving experience of a light duty vehicle
Responsibilities
• Maintain an updated logbook indicating departure and arrival times, oil and fuel consumption, mileage etc
• Check oil and water in the engine compartment
• Clean organisational vehicles, including executive cars, and ensure that they are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Report accidents and damage to vehicles in accordance with laid down procedures.
• Assist registry work (within the transport section) such as the processing of mail and the operation of office machinery, as required Compensation
