BSB is Miss Interbank 2012 Beauty Queen, represented by Loago Mmusi

This year's Miss Interbank was a marvel to watch as it attracted scores of people from the City especially those from the Banking fraternity. The event was held at Boipuso Hall under the theme Sophiatown theme. Twenty one (21) contestants from various banks in the country competed for the queen's prize. Botswana Savings Bank was crowned Miss Interbank while Capital Bank and First National Bank (FNB) got away with the 1st and 2nd Princess positions respectively.

When contacted for comment, Botswana Savings Bank Director Resources, Mr. Boikhutso Tekane said that the BSB family is extremely excited about Loago Mmusi as Miss Interbank. He said that the competition is not only about beauty as it is with brains. "Loago's ability to tackle tough questions from a panel of judges demonstrates the amount of talent possessed by the bank. We will continue to scout and nurture such talent for the betterment of our nation" Mr. Tekane remarked. He also hinted that the Bank will be more than ready to support the Miss Interbank in any form of charitable engagements.

For her part, Loago Mmusi, the beauty queen thanked her bank for its enormous support and encouragement during the preparations. She said that the competition was very intense and as such, every contestant was a winner. She further informed this publication that Miss Interbank title is a gateway to her pipeline beauty peagant and modelling career. Loago shared her desire to contribute significantly towards helping alleviate poverty especially in the rural community, create banking awareness by becoming the voice of the Banking Industry, address youth challenges and also help to partner with the youth in addressing pertinent issues and projects such as poverty eradication.
