Palapye Branch led by Maxy Masuku, Branch Manager has donated sanitary items to Lotsane Senior Secondary School boarding students and Palapye junior secondary students. The donation was done under the I Care employee Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

Masuku said these items included bath soap, face cloth, deodorant, and toilet paper. The donation was made the first week of June and this brought joy in the students and teachers.

“As the Palapye branch we are excited about this donation and we are aware that small as it may be, it will make a difference in the lives of students whom some are boarders. We have a responsibility to play in the lives of the community members and we plan on identifying the needs to ease the burden”, said Masuku.

Masuku revealed that the Palapye branch employees raised contributed money to provide funding for these CSR activities.

He pointed out that the donation was made during a small ceremony. He went on to reveal that they have also made donations in Selebi Phikwe at Meepong Junior secondary School for their victory party.

The BSB Corporate Social Responsibility Policy supports education and is one of the CSR crucial focus areas.
