Botswana Savings Bank would like to distance itself from this social media post by The Ghetto-Metro- Online. The bank has never engaged with a journalist from the said social media page nor divulged such information about the regulator, Bank of Botswana.

The bank wishes to point out that the claims published on this Facebook page are not accurate. It is worth noting that the Bank of Botswana is not involved in any of the BSB loan processes as the Facebook page claims. Botswana Savings Bank has no reason to suspect or believe that Bank of Botswana could sabotage its operations in any way nor could the bank intentionally place its customers in compromising situations as the Facebook page claims.
