- Expressions of interest are solicitated from 100% Local Citizen Contractors for the expression of
interest for the provision of the e KYC/AML Automation System to Botswana Savings Bank.
Scope of Services - The scope of works (SoW) includes but not necessarily limited to the following:
2.1 Scan an upload KYC documents (ID, source of income, proof of residence, etc)
2.2 Setting up expiry date protocols for KYC documents
2.3 Importing Customer data from Core Banking system
2.4 Integration to the Core Banking Systems through API
2.5 Automate the UN Sanctions List Screening
2.6 Establish Ultimate Beneficiary Owners (UBOs) for every account
2.7 Risk profiling customers before a Customer Information File (CIF) is opened
2.8 Setting up email notifications for non-compliant account and expiry dates of KYC documents
2.9 Screening for Prominent Influential Persons (PIPs) - Bidders who are to be considered for further engagement about this tender should be
appropriately licensed to trade and or supply the services required in this expression call and duly
licensed according to the laws of Botswana. - Bidding companies should be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board
(PPADB) and in possession of Code 120: ICT Technical Support Services, Sub-Code 01: Systems
Development Services and Maintenance Services. The codes are to be verified online. - Eligible local citizen contractors who are wishing to provide the services required must provide
information indicating their capability, capacity, experiences, appropriate skills and relevant
competencies to perform the services required. - The procuring department is Botswana Savings Bank Risk Department, (Financial Crimes Unit),
