Reporting to the Director, Operations the incumbent will be responsible for planning, managing, leading and directing the business focus on the distribution of all insurance products to achieve business, revenue and profit targets and to implement regulatory standards.

Key accountabilities
The incumbent will be responsible for among others, the following:
• Ensuring appropriate Bancassurance Structure is in place to drive Bancassurance business;
• Developing and executing an overall Business Plan covering all insurance activities across all the business based on business targets in alignment with insurance Partners;
• Management of overall Insurance through establishing close working relationships across business and Product/Marketing manager to deliver customer, business, revenue and profit targets for by driving insurance products activities across channels and segments;
• Management of relationships with all insurance partners to ensure smooth running of the distribution channels in delivering targets for the Bank.
• Involvement in identifying product needs for all customer bases across business with product managers and segment managers together with appropriate Insurance Partners to meet customer needs and product gaps in total product/service offering.
• Working with product managers to identify market growth/ cross-sell opportunities to increase product holdings and improved revenues.
• Initiating, executing and managing marketing programmes and retention strategies in line with business objectives (premiums, commissions, product type, number of policies)
• Analysing and reviewing all customer bases to understand customer profiles, behavioural and lifestyle traits (including product holding mix, revenue contribution, behavioural/ lifestyle analytics) to identify opportunities for increasing customers’ insurance wallet share (total value)
• Responsible for any necessary reporting as require by insurance authorities and regulators.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Banking or related field
• COP (Long and Short term)
• 10 years relevant experience working in the Banking/Insurance industry (Strongly preferred) including three (3) years at a managerial level.
• Knowledge of insurance products and processes, regulatory requirements as well as ability to manage P&L to drive business performance and revenues.

Reporting to the Board of Directors and with a dotted line to the CEO the incumbents will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the Banks audit function to ensure the Bank is provided with independent and objective assurance service designed to add value and improve the Bank’s operations.



Key accountabilities:
• Develop, implement and monitor divisional annual plan, and align the divisional goals to the overall corporate objectives.
• Examine the accuracy and completeness of records and procedures for internal control to safeguard Bank assets and ensures areas of the Bank are in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Reductions in non-compliance arising out of internal interventions.
• Minimise external audit queries (including a reduction in audit fees).
• Reports audit findings and makes recommendations to mitigate risk directly to the Bank’s Audit Committee.
• Motivate, identify and develop talent amongst divisional staff.



Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or any related field.
• Associate membership of a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, CA, CIA)
• At least eight (8) years’ experience in an Internal Audit environment of which three (3) should have been served in a managerial position.
• Experience in a financial institution will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements:
